Comic Book Workshop
Drop-Off Comic Book Workshop
Need a little time while the kids create something awesome? Drop them off at Modern Learning Association for a hands-on Comic Book Workshop session!
Kids can come create some unique comic book strips, socialize with friends, and enjoy some game
Cost: $5 per child.
Registration required: Limited spots—reserve yours!
Dollies Story Time
Bring your favorite doll or stuffed animal and join us for a cozy and fun story time for kids of all ages! Children can bring a favorite book to read to the group or simply snuggle up with their doll and enjoy listening to stories read aloud. Cookies and water will be provided for a sweet treat.
This event is free, but donations to Modern Learning Association (www.MLAssoc.org) are always appreciated and help us continue to grow and host more programs for kids and families. Guardians are welcome to stay, or you can drop off your child if preferred.
If the weather is nice, we may take the event outside—so feel free to bring a blanket or something comfy to sit on!

We are hosting a Lego building class! There will be a theme for the class, we will discuss things we can build, and the kids can get their creative juices flowing!!!
The class is for ages 5-13. We have 20 spots available.
This is a parent assist or drop off class. Please use your best judgement on how your child will do during the class without you.
As a non-profit organization, we ask for a donation to Modern Learning Association for the class which can help us offer more classes and programs in the future!
Waivers will be required to be filled out at drop off for all youth and adults staying and participating.

We are hosting our first Education Expo. Please come and join us and other alternative schools! Meet other families, educators, and students that also participate in alternative education! Ask questions and learn more with us! Share with everyone so they may have an opportunity to come as well!
